ATIRA was designated as a Centre of Excellence (COE) for Composites by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, under the TMTT scheme in 2011. Our primary objective is to pioneer lightweight composite materials for diverse applications across sectors such as space, aviation, defense, construction, and energy, utilizing both specialty and natural fibers.

ATIRA boasts a rich history of developing an array of products, including Reflectors, Antennas, Radomes, Insulation sheets, Portable Cabins, Prosthetics, and more. We have proudly collaborated with SAC-ISRO for over 7 years, contributing to esteemed space programs such as:

Continuing our innovation streak, we’ve spearheaded the development of products like Reflectors and Antennas for space and ground hardware applications, partnering with esteemed organizations like Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL).

ATIRA also focuses on pioneering carbon composites for Aerospace Industry and Defense applications, particularly for Drone and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) systems.

 

Further, we have curated a high-performance range of Glass Epoxy Laminates, tailored for electrical insulation and automotive applications. Our portfolio includes G10, G11, FR 4, FR 5, and H Class laminates, meeting stringent international standards while excelling in high-temperature environments and displaying superior mechanical properties.

Focus Incubation Center for Prototype Development

ATIRA houses a state-of-the-art focus incubation center equipped with facilities for various CFRP manufacturing techniques. We offer prototype development and scale-up services, catering to entrepreneurs, startups, MSMEs, and corporates.

Training and Skill Development

Our CoE conducts comprehensive training programs, seminars, and webinars, fostering knowledge dissemination in areas such as Carbon Fiber Composites, FRP Composite Materials Processing, CFRP tube and laminate manufacturing, and Carbon Fiber Composite Manufacturing

Testing Facilities

To ensure the performance of composite materials, our Composite Material Testing lab offers reliable and comprehensive services for Physical, Mechanical, Non-destructive, Electrical, UV, Heat and Flammability testing.
